DAY 3 – 9/11 MEMORIAL MUSEUM/STATUE OF LIBERTY/WALKING TOUR

One of the most significant events in American history is remembered at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The memorial is located at the World Trade Center site, the former location of the Twin Towers, and is dedicated to exploring the implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events and exploring 9/11’s continuing significance.

The Statue of Liberty is more than a monument – she is a beloved friend, and a living symbol of freedom to the world. Ellis Island is the historic gateway to America, where millions of immigrants passed through between 1892 and 1955. No trip to New York City is complete without visiting the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum.
